As the weather warms and the days grow longer, we are reminded of the beautiful cycles of renewal that God has woven into creation. This season is not just a time for outdoor gatherings and much-needed rest; it is an invitation to cultivate our faith and deepen our roots within the community.
Whether you are a lifelong member of our congregation or walking through our doors for the very first time, there is a place for you here. This month, we are focusing on how we can take the love and grace we experience inside the sanctuary out into the neighborhoods where we live and work.
Upcoming Community Events
To help us connect and grow together, we have several exciting opportunities lined up for the coming weeks. We encourage you to mark your calendars and invite a friend:
Summer Kick-Off Picnic: Join us next Saturday at the community park for food, fellowship, and games for all ages. Hotdogs and hamburgers will be provided; please bring a side dish or dessert to share!
Wednesday Night Bible Study: We are beginning a new six-week series exploring the parables of Jesus. Sessions will be held both in person and online.
Local Food Drive: Throughout the month, we are partnering with the neighborhood food pantry to collect non-perishable goods. Drop-off bins are located in the main foyer.
A Word of Encouragement
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." — Galatians 6:9
It is easy to become distracted by the busy pace of life, but we are called to be a light in our community. Let us use this season to encourage one another, bear each other's burdens, and celebrate the small victories along the way.
Volunteer Opportunities If you are looking for ways to get involved, we are currently seeking volunteers for our Sunday morning greeting team and the children’s ministry. Please reach out to the church office for more information on how you can serve. We look forward to growing alongside you this season!
